エレクトロニック・アーツ（EA）はMMORPG「ウルティマ オンライン（UO）」において、「第１回 ブリタニアカップ」イベントの中継を「ウルティマ オンライン ウィジェット」で配信すると発表しました。

エレクトロニック・アーツ（EA）はMMORPG「ウルティマ オンライン（UO）」において、「第１回 ブリタニアカップ」イベントの中継を「ウルティマ オンライン ウィジェット」で配信すると発表しました。

「ウルティマ オンライン ウィジェット」は、2007年9月10日（月）より配信開始されるデスクトップツールで、RSSリーダー機能により最新ニュースを受信することが可能。

9月29日（土）の20時からは、「バッグボール」大会の決勝戦である「第１回 ブリタニアカップ」の模様が中継されます。中継にはタレントの小阪由佳も登場、イベントを盛り上げてくれるとのこと。今回の中継は音声のみですが、「ウルティマ オンライン ウィジェット」は映像のストリーミング配信にも対応しており、今後が楽しみなツールといえるでしょう。
