第16回D.I.C.E. Awards受賞結果 ― 『風ノ旅ビト』がGOTY含む9部門受賞の快挙

ラスベガスで開催中のD.I.C.E. Summit 2013にて、第16回D.I.C.E. Awards（2012年発売ゲームが対象）の受賞作品リストが発表されました。

栄冠の2012年Game of the Yearは、thatgamecompanyの『Journey（風ノ旅ビト）』が獲得。同作は、ダウンロードゲーム、アートディレクション、イノベーション、オンラインゲームプレイ、音楽など合計9部門で一挙受賞の快挙となりました。

その他複数受賞を果たしたのは、VGAでGOTYをさらったTelltaleの『The Walking Dead』、343 Industriesの『Halo 4』、Firaxisの『XCOM: Enemy Unknown』など。国産タイトルではインテリジェントシステムズの『ペーパーマリオ スーパーシール』が唯一賞を勝ち取っています。

また、既にお伝えしている通り、ValveのGabe Newell氏が第17番目の“AIAS Hall of Fame”に殿堂入りを果たし、今回の授賞式でEpic GamesのMike Capps氏より正式に授与が行われた他、Infocomの共同創設者であるDave LeblingとMarc Blank両氏に“AIAS Pioneer Award”が贈られたそうです。
